Services

Ingrid provides assessment and treatment for adolescents (16 years and older) and adults. Face-to-face and telehealth appointments are available. It is not uncommon to feel unsure or anxious when making your first psychology appointment, so please feel free to first speak with Ingrid if you have any questions or concerns. 

You do not need a referral to see Ingrid. However, if you would like to claim the Medicare rebate (see below), you will need to provide Ingrid with your referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your referring doctor. 

Ingrid is a registered Medicare provider, which means that you may be eligible to claim a rebate of $145.25 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year if you have been referred by your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician under the Better Access Initiative. Your private health insurance fund may also provide a rebate for psychological services. Funds and policies vary, so please enquire directly with your fund to learn about your specific entitlements. Please note, this is not a bulk-billing practice, so there will be an out-of-pocket cost for each appointment. 

Please provide at least 48 hours notice of any cancellations or changes to your appointments, or a cancellation fee will be charged: 100% of the appointment fee for less than 24 hours notice, and 50% of the fee for less than 48 hours notice. Medicare rebates are not available for cancelled appointments.
